The DSE327 Automatic Transfer Switch Control Module monitors the incoming AC voltage from two different sources, such as generator and mains (utility). The module monitors S1 (Source 1) and, if it detects a failure, it issues a start command to S2 (Source 2). You can order the DSE327 in 110 V and 230 V variants.
When S2 becomes available and produces an output within limits, the module activates the transfer device and switches the load from S1 to S2. When S1 returns to within limits, the module commands the load to transfer back to S1 and shuts down S2. The module uses various timing sequences to prevent nuisance starts caused by minor supply interruptions.
