HOTSTART CB coolant preheaters maintain optimal engine temperatures for diesel and gas engines used in construction equipment, trucks, heavy-duty mobile equipment, marine, and industrial applications. These engine heaters keep engines at operating temperature during downtime, improve cold-weather and emergency starts, and eliminate unnecessary idling.
HOTSTART CB models circulate heated coolant using the thermosiphon principle, a passive heat transfer method that moves coolant without a mechanical pump. This design delivers even heat distribution throughout the engine, reducing engine wear, enabling faster start-ups, and lowering emissions.
The pressure die-cast aluminum tank provides long-lasting durability in demanding environments. Each heater includes a built-in high-limit safety thermostat rated at 205°F (95°C) to ensure reliable and safe operation year after year. HOTSTART CB single-phase engine heaters support hard-wired electrical installation using rigid or flexible conduit and are available with or without optional flow-through thermostat assemblies.
