The SX440 is a half-wave, phase-controlled thyristor AVR that forms part of a brushless generator’s excitation system. It accepts a 190–264 V AC, single-phase input and delivers up to 120 V DC output. It regulates voltage to within ±1% and withstands vibration levels from 20–100 Hz (50 mm/sec) and from 100 Hz–2 kHz.
